SUPER BOWL MOMENTS

NOW THAT IT IS SUPER BOWL WEEK, I THOUGHT I WOULD LIST SOME GREAT AND NOT SO GREAT SUPER BOWL MOMENTS THAT I RECALL. I REMEMBER WATCHING MY FIRST SUPER BOWL WHEN THE BEARS AND THE PATRIOTS PLAYED. EVERYONE WAS A BEARS FAN WHEN I WAS THAT AGE. WE ALL LIKED WHOEVER WON. ANYWAY HERE ARE SOME THAT STICK OUT IN MY MIND. FEEL FREE TO POST SOME OF YOURS

1. WILLIAM PERRY, " THE FRIDGE" SCORING A TOUCHDOWN IN THE 46-10 WIN OVER THE PATRIOTS.

2. 1988- DOUG WILLIAMS BECOMING THE FIRST BLACK QUARTERBACK TO START A SUPER BOWL GAME, AND ALSO ROOKIE BACK TIMMY SMITH RUSHING FOR A RECORD 236 YARDS IN A 42-10 WIN OVER THE BRONCOS
3. 1989- MY TEAM THE 49ERS COMING FROM BEHIND TO BEAT THE BENGALS 20-16 AND JERRY RICE WAS NAMED MVP
4. 1991-1994, THE BUFFALO BILLS LOSING 4 STRAIGHT SUPER BOWLS AND I WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO PICK THEM EVERY YEAR.
5. 1996- NEIL O' DONNEL THROWING 2 INTERCEPTIONS RIGHT TO LARRY BROWN OF THE COWBOYS. I AM SORRY BUT HE MUST HAVE BEEN PAID OFF FOR THAT. THERE WERE NO STEELERS IN THE AREA ON EITHER THROW, AND THEN LARRY BROWN WAS NAMED MVP, GO FIGURE
6. 1997- REGGIE WHITE CARRYING HIS CHILD ABOVE HIM AS HE CELEBRATED HIS FIRST SUPER BOWL WIN. THEY BEAT NEW ENGLAND 35-21.
7. 1998- THIS IS FOR CHAD. JOHN ELWAY WINNING HIS FIRST SUPER BOWL AFTER LOSING IN HIS FIRST 3 STARTS IN THE SUPER BOWL. IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SUPER BOWLS I HAD EVER SEEN AS THEY BEAT THE PACKERS 31-24.
8. 2000- KEVIN DYSON COMING JUST SHORT OF THE GOALINE AS THE RAMS HELD ONTO WIN IN ANOTHER GREAT SUPERBOWL GAME
9. 2001- TRENT DILFER, OF ALL PEOPLE, LEADING THE RAVENS TO A DOMINATING WIN OVER THE GIANTS. OK IT WAS MOSTLY DEFENSE DOMINATION, BUT TRENT PLAYED WELL AND HE REALLY IS A PRETTY GOOD QB WHEN HE IS IN THE RIGHT SYSTEM.

THAT IS ALL I HAVE FOR NOW, PLEASE POST YOUR FAVORITE SUPER BOWL MOMENTS

All great Super Bowl moments Raiker! Thanks for bring back the memory of Elway's "helicopter" dive on 3rd and 6. AHHHH.....still gives me chills! And what a performance by TD (Terrell Davis) that game! Sitting out the whole 2nd quarter with migrains and still rushing for 157 yards on his way to the MVP honors. In my opinion, that was the greatest Super Bowl ever! Yeah, the Titans coming up a yard short in Super Bowl XXXIV was a great game, but if you remember the first half...there wasn't much excitement....9-0 at halftime. The Denver-Green Bay game was non-stop intoxicating action for the whole game. It wasn't until 1:30 in the 4th quarter that you could breath again..... I must also add Denver's second Super Bowl win the next year though. Elway won the MVP that game and left the game of football a true winner. To retire and go out the way he did is a testament to the true champion he really is! I really wish i could put some pictures on here...anyway to do that Raiker??? Ok...Super Bowl Highlights is on ESPN now...need to finish watching them.
