A little note to my friend Chad.

How brave of you to wait 3 weeks with your stats comeback even after playing bowling green & michigan state. Michigan States Defense is #81 out of 119 teams. Way to go. Impressive Ted Ginn 10 catches & 120 yards for a career high against BG. Way to tear it up.

While up north Michigan had played Penn State which has the 2nd best defense in the big 10 and Iowa whois one of the better teams in the big 10 without Mario Manningham.

Since according to Mr. Chad we are not aloud to compare anything from the past. I am going to compare apples to apples. Senior quarterback to start off. My good friend Troy Smith is such a great QB I checked out his stats for passing yards and he is all the way up to #21 in rankings, passing efficency which Chad always brags about Troy was #4. Out of the top 10 for throwing the ball down the field he was the 3rd lowest with 8 yards a throw. Not impressive to me at all.

So since Troy Smith is a great QB I looked for some more stats even more impressive then the shitty ones above. I figured since he was a great QB he would have recievers with impressive numbers and the highest ranked reciever was in 23rd place. Now Mario Manningham who has not played in that last 2 games was only 75 yards behind him. Go Super Mario.

Oh yea Troy Smith isn't even leading the big 10 in passing yards. How pathetic is that. Remember when I said Apples to Apples Chad well lets talk about my good friend Brady Quinn who has played 7 games this year to your 8 games. In most categories Quinn is in the top 10 and has thrown for 1938 yds this season in 7 to Troys 1715 yrds in 8 games and QUINN also last week threw for 10,000 yards in his career. Starting to sound like a HEISMAN winner to me. Hey but Troy smith might throw for 3,000 in his career. Go Troy.. WHile Chade Henne is averaging over 2500 yrds per year and will throw for over 9,000 in his career and he is also throwing for over 200 yds the last 2 games without his leading reciever but we are not aloud to talk about him sinc Henne is a Junior. But lets keep it on the senior to senior competition and not pick on the Junior who will start for 4 years and not just 1 1/2 years. Your so HIGH that troy smith is finally going to throw for over 2,000 this year and my boy Chad Henne has thrown for 2,000 yds per season from freshmen to now. Also, Quinn plays a lot tuffer teams then both Michigan & OSU have played and lets face it the big 10 is down this year and there are only 3 good teams in the big 10 this year Michigan, OSU & Wisconsin which you don't play this year. Troy Smith is throwing the ball on piss pore defenses. Well next year we will get to talk about the heisman candiate CHAD HENNE who will have HEISMAN stats not just one good year against a weak big 10. I don't know maybe Troy will be back maybe his contract will be up or maybe they will pay him more money. You never know what they are going to do.

alright, if you dont want troy smith to win the heisman, thats fine with me, there are 4-5 guys right now that are deserving, but you cant argue throwing 21 td's and 2 ints and leading the #1 team in the nation. please dont use brady quinn as a comparison. yes he has thrown for 223 more yards than troy smith in one less game, but he has 85 more attempts also. so those 223 yards arent really much of a stat. also be careful of calling the big ten so weak and that notre dame has played a tougher schedule. 4 of their 7 games this year have been against that same big ten. so if the big ten is that weak this year, then notre dame has played some weak teams. now i wont try and rip chad henne because i actually think he is pretty good, but he is in his third full season now. troy has not had the opportunity to play as many games, so his stats are pretty darn good if you look at the number of games he has started. you cant argue the efficiency has brought, and his wins and losses as starter. the heisman has turned political and it doesnt always go to the best player in college football. the best football player could be an offensive lineman, but of course that wont get noticed. with the players they have chosen to head this list this year, troy is on top no doubt about it.

oh and sorry i forgot one thing, the mention of michigan playing penn state and iowa, yes we already played them and won as well, and penn state does not have the 2nd best defense in the big ten. that honor belongs to wisconsin.
